In Louisa County Court Clerks Office September the 8.th 1831
Caroline, daughter of Huldah, emancipated by the last will and Testament of Richard Sandidge dec.d of record in the said office, this day made application to be registered according to Law.
It is therefore certified to all whom it may concern, that the said Caroline is a very bright mulatto girl nearly white, four feet seven inches & half high, about thirteen years old, has a small scar in the middle of the forehead light bluish grey eyes, straight hair & rather light-no other apparent mark or scar deemed worthy of notice
