The following maps of mining in Mineral City are in the beta stages.  The photos contained here come from the William B. Kiblinger collection of negatives in the Louisa County Historical Society archives.  We are seeking more photographs from the public to match the mines known to exist.  the second map was created using only the mines listed in the Virginia Department of Mines and Minerals locating them by the lattitude and longitude provided in their inventory.  We are seeking collaborators to accurately locate additional mining sites.
