This is a letter from the Western Electrical Supply Co. to the mayor of Louisa. He is pursuing an inquiry made by the mayor for the building of a power plant and electric lighting in Louisa. Written in July 8, 1903, leaders of Louisa were beginning to make efforts to bring electricity to the Town.

Residents in rural portion of the county would have to wait until the national efforts for rural electrification following World War II's end in 1945.
