The Court of said County having on the 14.th day of November 1853 Ordered that Thomas Thacker a free negro be registered by the Clerk of said Court according to law: It is therefore certified to all whom it may concern that the said Thomas Thacker is a man of a brownish complexion, about thirty seven years old Five feet seven Inches high, has a Scar in is forehead, another between the Outer corner of the left eye and the ear and another under his lip. No other mark or scar on his face head or hands deemed worthy of notice.
