Judy, daughter of Frankey (who was emancipated by the Rev.d John Poindexter by deed of manumition to the said Frankey and her children duly recorded in the Clerks Office of Louisa County Court) This day made application in the said office to be registered according to law-It is therefore certified to all whom it may concern, that the said Judy is a dark Mulatto woman, five feet three and a half inches high, in the eighteenth year of her age, has a scar on the right cheek occasioned by a cut, no other apparent mark or scar deemed worthy of notice.
