Description

This document is a sharecropping contract between Richard Kennon and Samuel Brown. The agreement specifies that Brown is to repair a house located on Kennon’s land. He must also cultivate the land around the house. Brown’s work must be complete by a certain day. In return for his services, Brown is given full use of the refurbished home and cultivated land during his time of employment. The contract is dated November 1, 1865 and expires November 24, 1866.
